Throwing Taster Class

Step up to the wheel and experience the magic of throwing your own pots in this fully tutored, hands-on session — perfect for total beginners and those wanting a refresher.

You’ll be guided through the essential techniques of wheel throwing. Expect messy hands, plenty of laughs, and the satisfaction of creating something uniquely yours.

By the end of the session, you’ll choose your 4 favourite pots to take home. We’ll glaze and fire your chosen work for you, ready for collection a few weeks later.

What’s included:

• Your own wheel for the entire session
• Unlimited practice clay
• Choice of beautiful studio glazes
• Your finished pots that can be picked up after firing

What to bring:

• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy

• Tied-back hair, short nails, no precious jewellery and closed toe shoes

• A towel you don’t mind getting messy

Booking Terms:

All bookings are non-refundable. As a small independent studio, your place is reserved exclusively for you once booked.

If you need to reschedule with more than 3 weeks’ notice, we will attempt to re-sell your space. If we successfully fill it, you can move to a new date. If not, we’re unable to offer a reschedule — but you’re welcome to pass your place on to a friend.

Regarding your finished pots:
We encourage everyone to only fire work they truly love to help reduce waste and energy use.

Please allow 4–6 weeks for firing and glazing.
