Seize the Clay is opening the studio doors to the next generation of potters!

Join us at Seize the Clay during the summer holidays for our special Parent & Child “Make a Mug” workshops!

Running throughout July and August, these fun and relaxed 1.5-hour sessions are the perfect way to get creative together. Designed for children aged 8 and up, you and your child will learn how to handbuild your very own slab mug, shaping and decorating it with your own unique designs.

No experience is needed—just bring your imagination! We’ll guide you every step of the way as you create something truly personal to take home.

The cost is £60 per session, which includes both parent and child.

Your finished mugs will be carefully dried, glazed, and fired in the kiln, ready for collection in 4–6 weeks.
